Red Belly piranhas

Hello everyone, this is my first post. I purchased 2 red belly piranhas around 2 years ago. i bought them when they were very young, around 1 inch in length. Now they have grown to around 7-8 inches!!

Anyway i bought a house, moving out of my parents and getting married this year and i was looking to see about giving them to a better home. i didnt know if this was legal? (i heard it was illegal to sell them at one point?) how much are they worth, is anyone here interested in them?

In some states these will be illegal. I would suggest posting on cichlid forums and see if there re any takers and make sure it is not illegal to ship pirahannas to that state prior to proceeding

I would suggest talking to your local fish store. I know some will take them. If not, perhaps they'll let you post a notice to sell them.
