At first I though the white discoloration might have been damage from it scraping underneath the driftwood.

Then I thought it might be disease.

But then I remembered the discarded exoskeletons I've seen in my tank. I've never seen any of my shrimp in the process/act of molting.

Has anyone actually seen a Cherry Shrimp molt?

I have not seen a white line, I have seen molting though with most shrimp including cherry shrimp
